Description An exciting opportunity is being offered through Robert Half for a Tax Preparer based in the Howell, Michigan area. Your duties as the Tax Preparer will include the preparation of straightforward and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Thoroughly enter the appropriate data into Tax software application

　　Call or email clients to gather fundamental information/documents

　　Determine and invoice for form preparation fees

　　Manage other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Service incoming client calls to respond to tax questions and set appointments

　　Manually fashion completed transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies Requirements - Command of Complex Tax Return

　　Individual Tax Return experience desired

　　Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

　　Experience with high volume data entry

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
