QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking experienced petroleum,chemical and dry bulk tank mechanics High school diploma or GEDequivalent preferred Must have a valid driver\'s license: CDL PreferredMust be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening requiredby DOT. Experience with DOT and ASME tank repairs Experience movingtrailers in and out of shop a plus Experience welding on aluminum,stainless, and mild steel tanks and components Understanding of tankplumbing and operation Experience installing power takeoffs, drivelines, and product pumping systems Experience with DOT tank inspectionprocedures and testing equipment Layout and fabrication skillsRegistered Inspector training and certification a plus Must have yourown tools Preferably the successful candidate will have inspectorcredentials WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT: The work environmentincludes exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weathervariations, metal welding processes and chemicals, which may includesolvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking.
