Description Robert Half is seeking candidates in the Retail industry to join their local client's team through their Systems Engineer position. This position requires you to serve as a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure. Submit an application for this role now! 　　Major responsibilities

　　Connect with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

　　Administrate backup, security, and redundancy strategies

　　Submit 2nd and 3rd level support

　　Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes

　　Consistently deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

　　Partake in the design of information and operational support systems

　　Conduct and keep an eye on all installed systems and infrastructure

　　Maintain, install, configure, and test system management tools, application software, and operating systems

　　Note and support custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Requirements - If you have solid scripting skills, you will be strongly preferred for this position

　　Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks

　　Candidates with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems will be the best fit for this position

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Server

　　Active Directory experience preferred

　　Strong familiarity with Hyper-V

　　Command of Microsoft Exchange Server

　　Data Center Technologies experience

　　Experience with monitoring systems
