Summary About the Position: Serves as a DASC, with responsibility for Army-wide program planning matters. As subject matter expert, formulates, implements, interprets, and evaluates policies and procedures relating to the direction, operation and management of weapon systems acquisitions oversight. Responsibilities Provides technical expertise in the development of plans and objectives and policy and program planning. Conducts review of policies, plans, and programs and makes recommendations on program cost, schedule, and performance. Provides weapons system acquisitions oversight for all assigned programs. Recommends technical, programmatic, and funding actions that have significant impact. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
