CACI is seeking a System Administrator to join our team supporting our multi-year prime program in Hanover, MD. The Middleware III program provides mission-critical ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) services to customer networks worldwide. Our technical staff supports software and system development, and operational sustainment of services in support of Zero Trust security architectures for the Intelligence Community.
All positions within Middleware require an active TS/SCI with Poly and are currently accepting candidates open to clearance upgrade.
The System Administrator’s typical responsibilities include :
Provide mission applications-focused expertise for the IT user.
Interact effectively, courteously, and directly with the user to resolve technical issues.
Respond to queries and requests for service that originate by telephone, web-based portals, email, or other methods.
Working knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology.
Read, write, and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Assist with the transition of new technologies into the Enterprise service environment.
Assist with installation and configuration of new software applications. Produce and/or contribute to IT knowledge articles.
Required Qualifications:
Must possess an active security clearance and successfully obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph prior to starting on program
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
3 to 10 years of System Administration experience.
An additional 4 years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
Work experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication services.
Preferred Qualifications:
One of the following Information Assurance certifications - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Experience with Linux Administration - including installing, configuring, troubleshooting and upgrading (RHEL, CENTOS)
Familiarity with high availability, network, and storage configuration for Linux servers
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with scripting and automated deployment
