Description

　　We are seeking Switchboard Operators to join a great team in a healthcare setting! This role plays a crucial role in managing incoming and outgoing calls within a healthcare facility, responsible for ensuring efficient communication between patients, healthcare providers, and various departments within the organization.

　　-Operates the PBX answering incoming and in-house call requests.

　　-Responds to all emergency codes quickly and calmly with appropriate overhead paging.

　　-Contacts patients for an address update as indicated by Supervisor.

　　-Reviews updates in the communication book and initial memos.

　　-Inventories contents of safe at the beginning of each shift in the presence of a security guard.

　　-Assigns loaner beepers and programs new beepers.

　　-Ensures courteous and professional dialog with all customers.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent.

　　Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

　　Knowledge of phone systems and basic computer skills.

　　Ability to handle high call volumes and remain calm under pressure.

　　Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
