  Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity providing Advisory and AssistanceServices supporting the US Space Force and its mission to Protect and DefendNational Security Interests in Space as a member of the Space WarfightingAnalysis Center (SWAC) Spectrum Warfare Program (SWP) Director'sAction Group (DAG) Staff. As a member of the SWAC/SWP DAG staff, youwill provide on-site support to SWAC/SWP executives and staff in theColorado Springs, CO Aerospace Facility at 7250 Getting Heights. Thisposition receives direction from SWAC/SWP leadership, serves as astrategic advisor to optimize day-to-day operation of the SWAC/SWP inColorado Springs, and coordinates with SWAC personnel in the NationalCapital R

  This is a full-time position at the Aerospace Corporation Facility, 7250Getting Heights, in Colorado Springs, CO.

  Responsibilities

  An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government.As a member of the SWAC/SWP DAG Staff, you will take direction directlyfrom the SWAC Directors, serve as a strategic advisor to optimize theday-to-day operation of the SWAC in Colorado Springs and coordinate with SWACpersonnel in the National Capital Region (NCR). This individual appliessignificant influence within the Center; provides expert, comprehensiveknowledge of SWAC responsibilities, priorities, and projects; developsand evangelizes daily business practices; and helps manage, guide anddirect the Director's staff to maximize its effectiveness.

  Duties include, but are not limited to:Manages SWAC/SWP Directors' dynamic daily calendars and travelschedules, interfacing with senior officers/executives from multiplemilitary commands and intelligence agencies, and facilitating communicationbetween SWAC senior executives and staffSchedule meetings/events to maximize the Director's and senior leaders' timeIdentify meeting participants, subject matter experts (SMEs) andrequired materials to thoroughly address the issue, produce solutions,direct further study, or re-vector the effortEnsure the Directors are thoroughly prepared for each event on theirschedule, to include scheduling preparation time, providing read-aheadmaterials, biographies of participants, subject matter experts, andarranging advanced meetings, as requiredEstablish effective working relationships with command staffs at USSPACECOM, HQ USAF Air Staff and Secretariat, HQ SPOC, DNRO, JFCC Spaceand throughout the stakeholder communityPerform outreach to all organizations with whom SWAC conducts business tounderstand their organizational goals/objectives, parochial views andtheir impact to the SWAC and the NSS enterpriseDevelop position products-briefings, speeches, and position papers-thatcan be used to elicit decisions from government officials or inform seniorlevel organizations throughout the US government, giving special attentionto political issues that may impact the SWAC, SWAC Directors, HQ SpOC,HQ NRO or the NSS EnterprisePrepare correspondence, handle information requests, make travelarrangements and perform functions such as answering phone calls, organizingand scheduling meetings/VTCs, arranging conference calls,receiving/escorting visitors, writing meeting minutes as required,making copies and managing functions such as mail, courier service and recordsAssign and track work tasks/action items, coordinate and assist withoffice IT and office setup requests (e.g., desks, computers, phones)as required, perform records management and gather or create develop alldocumentation to support SWAC senior executive travelPerform broad office duties such as ordering supplie , retrieving and filingSWAC documents and receiving, sorting and distributing incomingcorrespondence including faxes and emailAssist security personnel with security clearance verification, buildingaccess, data transfers, processing visit requests, etc, as requiredTravel to CONUS and OCONUS locations at the request of the GovernmentOther duties as required/requested by the Government within the constraintsof the S3 contract
