　　Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Sustaining Electrical Engineer. This individual will work on product improvement actives of critical electrical designs for medical products. Exercises independent judgment in identifying, recommending and implementing significant and/or complex new electrical design improvements to meet existing product and regulatory requirements. The Sustaining Electrical Engineer will work on technical reviews of the electrical design updates with cross-functional R&D colleagues and develop networks involving cross functional/cross departmental groups as well as communication to senior management.

　　What You’ll Work On

　　Electrical/Hardware Engineer that will support sustaining activities.

　　Identify and qualify alternate electronic components based on market availability and ability to update designs when needed.

　　Addressing component (EOL), Supply Mitigation, Product investigations

　　Support and conduct EMC testing both internally and with external testing facilities

　　Communicate effectively and participate on cross functional development teams.

　　Write and submit Engineering Change Orders in Agile (a product life cycle management tool.)

　　Comply with all applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team

　　Create in Altium schematics, gerbers, assemblies, and design files and release into document control system.

　　Required Qualifications

　　BS in an Electrical Engineering Discipline (Electrical or Physics preferred), or equivalent relevant experience as well as 3-5 years of relevant experience.

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
