Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for supplying, equipping and performing scrub nurse role in the LD ORs. Also responsible for all facets of sterile consciousness and safety in the OR. Appropriates procedural charges, manages all supplies and equipment and maintain inventory. Serves as a secretarial resource for the department , directs communication within the department, utilizes computer systems to enter patient information, places orders/charges.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Diploma/GED or Graduate from a Surgical Tech Program

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division.
