High Lakes Gynecology has an exciting opportunity for a PRN, shift or Part-TimeSurgical Gynecology Physician Assistantto become part of an established team of providers at our High Lakes Gynecology clinic in the outdoor adventure town of Bend, Oregon. You will join a small, mission-driven team of providers while also working closely with, and being supported by our exceptional care team and administrative staff.
High Lakes Gynecology, part of Praxis Health, has been serving the community since 2008. Our providers offer all gynecology related procedures, while ensuring that patients are educated about disease prevention, detection, and reproductive health. In this role you will assist our gynecologists in surgery. Current need is for 2 OR days per week, with the opportunity to expand schedule and duties if there is preference. Our ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of experience in surgical specialty, an impeccable bed-side manner, strong communication skills and a compassionate character.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Abilities:
Requires certification as a Physician Assistant (PA)
Minimum 1 year surgical specialty experience required
Clinical competency and expertise in caring for gynecological patients
Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Respect for patient's confidentiality
Compassionate and approachable
Responsible and trustworthy
Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
