Responsibilities Provides leadership and promote teamwork and solve critical, unique, and complex problems. Effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information to a variety of audiences. Programming and budget processes, procedures and requirements to formulate, justify, and monitor the execution of the District’s Support Services budget, and advise managers on budgetary alternatives affecting project or mission accomplishments. Knowledge in property management techniques such as accounting, control, protection, warehousing, identification and disposal. Knowledge of land use planning and related documents, activity plans and other written guidance that schedules resource improvement projects and maintenance needs and provides the environmental constraints under which the projects are developed. Knowledge of multiple use management concepts, principles and management applying to range and wildlife resources, recreation, archaeology, soils, water, air, timber, minerals and lands. Understanding of professional skills and technical programs (e.g., GIS, construction and maintenance, property management, civil engineering, records management) to enable effective communication with specialists. Knowledge of the principles, procedures and types of equipment used for all construction projects, GIS and maintenance work.
