Description:
The Engineering Support Specialist collects component and system information from hardware development engineers searches for existing part numbers or creates new ones and structures product information into Bills of Material. Revision Change Orders are managed by this employee and product revisions are controlled. The employee works with the Finance team to report on and understand product costs. This person controls engineering documentation accuracy and disbursement to internal and external customers.

RCO implementation and control at Contract Manufacturers
Product Data and document management
Help Contract Manufacturers with data access issues, and monitor their access
