　　Job Overview

　　TE Connectivity's Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

　　The Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist manages a commodity/category of Direct components. Develops the strategy that optimizes the supply chain of such category for TE benefit, in alignment to Business Unit strategies. Executes the sourcing process including but not limited to the preparation of RFQ packages, price, T&C's, contracts (pricing agreements, supply agreements, etc.). Develops and sustains robust business relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. Sourcing specialist are also responsible to represent procurement with cross functional teams such as engineering, finance, quality, and operations.

　　What your background should look like:

　　8+ years' Experience in fieldBachelor's degree (Business management, finance, engineering preferred)Knowledge of ERP systems as applicable to planning & purchasing (SAP knowledge is a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English language)Project management skills/knowledge, intermediate to advance preferred Negotiation and analytical skillsIntermediate to advance use of MS office application mainly focus in ExcelStrong presentation skills, experience presenting to upper management preferred (Sr. Mgr, Directors)Basic to intermediate knowledge of finance and cost analysis to find component price competitivenessDue to ITAR regulations, US citizenship or US lawful permanent residency (green card) is required to apply for this position25%-50% of travel is required (both international and domestic)

　　COMPENSATION

　　• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $105,760 - 158,640K (subject to change dependent on physical location)

　　• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
