Our supply chain management team creates bottom-line impact by driving cost management and operational benefits. Within our supply chain, the Supplier Quality Specialist is responsible for definition and support of the supplier quality management processes in alignment with the Eaton Quality System (EQS). This role works closely with our businesses to identify process definition projects and preventative / corrective improvement projects using quality systems, tools and processes, provides supplier quality functional support to suppliers and internal customers and supports regional functional leadership with development and deployment of standard supplier quality processes and tools.

"1. You will update and maintain supplier quality policies and procedures including the Supplier Site Assessment (SSA) process, Global Supplier Excellence Manual, Supplier Quality Policy, Supplier Qualification Policy, DMR & PPM Procedure, etc. in alignment with the Supply Chain Management function.
You will deploy the Supplier Change Request process to all global businesses.
You will manage supplier quality communication content through the Supplier Portal, Eaton.com, JOE, SharePoint, Videos and mass emails to both employees and suppliers.
You will coordinate, execute, and facilitate the Supplier Quality Council meetings including logistics, agenda, invitations, meals and minutes.
You will act as the secondary subject matter expert for the Corporate Supplier Quality WISPER tool and support the roll out of WISPER within the businesses.
You will coordinate with India GSC,CoE to finalize the Supplier Quality metrics for SCM White Book and develop a summary of actions.
You will define supplier quality competencies and lead change management initiatives to drive competency development.
You will support the global procurement organization with supplier
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; preferred focus on engineering, supply chain, business management or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Operations, Supply Chain and/or Quality
Skills:
Supplier Quality Processes, APQP, Quality Policy

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development, implementation, and achievement of results through cross-functional business initiatives and strategies
Strong analytical problem-solving abilities are necessary to understand operational inefficiencies as well as process deficiencies and determine appropriate course of action.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and project management skills and applications
Self-direction and self-motivation in analytical and problem-solving skills, which include knowledge of quality systems strategies and solutions.
Ability to analyze trends, identify root cause issues and develop long term, corrective actions.
Change Management skills
Knowledge of supply chain industry best practices to achieve value-added outcomes."
