What your day will look like:Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, and train associatesPlan, assign, and direct workAppraise performanceAddress complaints and resolve problemsBuilds positive associate moraleDevelop hourly associates as leaders to help in directing work areaActively supervising and directing associates on the production lines to build their skills while working toward continuous improvementEnforce and comply with all Company policies and proceduresReviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and to determine adequacy of stock levelsIssues written and oral instructionsEffective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Line Monitoring System (PLMS)Strong collaboration with other production support teamsWhat you need to succeed:Minimum age 18 years oldValid drivers license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyStrong leadership and organizational skillsProven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associatesHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredProficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipmentAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureAbility to effectively adapt to changeFrequent walking/standingFrequent exposure to water, weather, and noise
