Hours: Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the assignment and coordination of daily workflow for of people and products in the Fairport plant. Must understand equipment, processes, and procedures related to product manufacture.
How will you make an impact?
By developing a safe, positive culture of continuous improvement throughout the Production Operation. This will be accomplished by providing strong leadership and training that focuses on team safety, compliance with quality requirements, internal and external customer support, robust inventory control, and the development of standard work and a robust 5S program to improve productivity throughout the operation.
What will you do?
Lead shift-to-shift communications ensuring seamless transition of work across shifts.
Ensure a safe work environment and quality compliance through layered process audits and routine Gemba walks to review real-time performance, SOPs and work instructions, provide on the job coaching as needed.
Maintain and trend critical metrics used to identify areas of opportunity and engage teams in practical process improvement to achieve cost savings targets.
Apply plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle to daily work ensuring on-time delivery of high quality products while meeting productivity metrics.
Support team member growth and development through routine coaching, actionable performance appraisal, and by driving a robust cross-training and staffing plan.
Complete accurate and timely ERP production activity transactions.
Review and maintain accurate quality records as they relate to production.
Complete all other tasks as assigned by leader.
How will you get here?
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
Experience in a GMP / ISO production environment preferred.
SAP experience is helpful.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Understanding and working knowledge of production functions.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
Must demonstrate customer focus, action/results orientation, verbal/written communications, and the ability to seek input and feedback from others.
Demonstrated problem solving and independent decision-making skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to identify root cause and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $72,000.00–$108,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
