　　Capital City's Aquatics department is currently looking for a Summer Swim Coach/Instructor. Candidates must be professional, enthusiastic, and patient. They must possess the swimming knowledge necessary to teach and the passion to motivate.

　　Position Summary: 

　　Capital City Country Club is looking for a Summer Swim Coach/Instructor to help teach this rapidly growing program. Overall, this position requires someone to be able to work well with children and be able to effectively communicate with their parents.  This position also has potential for year-round, part-time employment with Aquatics Programming and Swim Lessons. 

　　Coaching Responsibilities:

　　Develop all levels of swimmers

　　Teach basic lessons to new swimmers

　　Help athletes and experienced swimmers refine their skills .

　　The instructor will be required to maintain and submit to the Aquatics Manager a Google Doc with all monthly availability provided for the membership to sign up through. (Template will be provided)

　　Communicate effectively with the Aquatics Manager and respond quickly to parents and swimmer needs.

　　Help create a safe and fun environment for your swimmers to learn.

　　Incorporate safety skills in a manner that progresses participants to learn to swim as though they are going to join our competitive swim team.

　　Qualifications:

　　Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid

　　Red Cross CPR/AED

　　WSI or SSI certification

　　Swim Coaching Experience (required)
