Position Summary: Preparation, serving and clean up of food and equipment for the School Nutrition Department.

　　Qualifications

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Have or complete American School Food Service Certification within first 12 months of employment

　　Food service preparation experience desired

　　Ability to read and write English, do simple arithmetic and follow oral and written directions

　　Ability to stand continuously and have the capacity to lift 50 lbs safely

　　Ability to relate to children

　　Possess good communicative, collaborative, and interpersonal skills

　　Successful completion of a criminal background check and physical capacity profile test will be required upon offer.

　　Maintains appearance appropriate to job responsibilities (wear uniform type clothing, hair net covering on the hair, and comfortable, safe rubber-soled shoes)

　　Duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor may vary from time to time

　　Terms of Employment: Substitutes are called and used on an “as needed basis” with no guarantee of hours or days.
