Position Description/Minimum Qualifications * We are searching forhighly motivated student interns to serve as student trainees where theywill have the opportunity to advise on, administer, learn, and/orperform work in one or more of the below career concentrations.Administrative Support Financial Management Information & Arts (PublicAffairs) Legal Support As a Student Trainee, your typical workassignments may include: Establishing and maintaining office files.Receiving incoming calls and visitors. Providing callers and visitorswith general information. Preparing a variety of standardized documentsfrom rough draft and/or oral instructions. Processing and distributingmail to appropriate individuals. Developing documents using a variety ofoffice automation applications. Performing special projects.Qualifications: For qualification purposes, an academic year is computedas follows: To qualify for a Pathways Internship as a GS-03: Studentsmust have completed one full academic year of post-high school study. Toqualify for a Pathways Internship as a GS-04: Students must havecompleted two full academic years of post-high school study or have anassociate degree. To qualify for a Pathways Internship as a GS-05:Students must have completed four academic years of post-high schoolleading to a bachelor\'s degree or equivalent degree. To be eligible,you must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program or acceptedfor enrollment on at least a half-time basis in an accreditededucational institution for Spring 2024.These institutions include (butare not limited to): College (including 4-year colleges/universities,community college, and junior college) Professional, Technical,Vocational, and Trade School Advanced Degree Program Certificate ProgramOther qualifying educational institutions
