Description:

　　We are looking for a Jr level Electrical Engineer with an interest in hardware testing (both execution and process) to help us maintain test fixtures.

　　The test fixtures are used by our Test Engineers and the Customer Staff to test prototypes of their IOT connected electronic metering devices. They are rack mounted devices that can be used to plug in actual electric meters to simulate usage in the real world as well as record data and errors for the testing process. (firmware updates, new hardware etc)

　　This can be a part time role for a current student (20 hours per week). If desired more hours can be worked with additional training towards full fixture design and test.

　　This role will involve running test scripts and making hardware repairs to ensure the fixtures work properly for product testing.

　　This will involve:

　　-running basic python scripts

　　-debugging/repair with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, soldering, etc)

　　-reading schematics,

　　-logging, communicating, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs

　　-seek ways to improve and expand fixture maintenance process

　　They will be given oversight from more Sr members of the team, but the candidates needs to be someone who can take some initiative on their own.

　　This will be the go-to person for the customer when it comes to test fixture issues and resolution.

　　Pursuing or current BS in EE or related field

　　Lab or professional experience with hands on electronics: Soldering, oscilloscopes, etc

　　Basic python skills

　　Self-starter with a good attitude who is looking for an opportunity
