Job Description

　　BAE Systems in York PA is seeking at Structural Maintenance Person. This position is on 3rd shift.

　　Duties are: Performs maintenance and construction work on plant and office building structures, roofs, floors, partitions and equipment. Performs construction and repair on industrial plant and office structures.

　　Including concrete, masonry, drywall, framing, roofing and welding.

　　Experience in office construction, industrial building repair, installation and repair of roll up doors, various types of roofing, welding structures, office cubicle assembly, steel door and frame installation, dry wall repair and installation, block wall repair and concrete.

　　Ability to interpret prints, sketches and build drawings, plan and determine materials required and calculate material requirements.

　　Work safely and clean area upon completion of work.

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　This job is required to operate in a manufacturing environment, where use of respiratory protection may be required. Individuals required to wear respiratory protection must achieve medical approval and pass fit testing.

　　3 years of experience in structural maintenance.

　　Performs construction and repair on industrial plant and office structures.

　　Including concrete, masonry, drywall, framing, roofing and welding.

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Completion of a state certified apprenticeship program in relevant field: carpentry, building maintenance, structures.OR

　　AS Degree/BS Degree in relevant technical field plus 3 years industrial experience in construction or building maintenance trade.OR

　　5 years documented experience in an industrial setting repairing building structures, office modifications, structural welding and ability to fabricate from prints.Pay Information

　　This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
