Strategic Partnership Manager (Energy), Strategic Business DevelopmentAmazon Web Services is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Amazon Web Services Industries (AWSI) team as a Partner Success Manager for Strategic Business Development-Energy with a focus on the zero and low carbon fuels including hydrogen. The AWSI team is responsible for managing and executing some of Amazon's most complex and high impact partnership engagements. In 2019, Amazon co-founded the Climate Pledge - a commitment to be net zero carbon across the businesses by 2040, a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement goal of 2050. The Hydrogen Economy has been identified as one of the strategic areas to meet this ambitious goal. This role will focus on managing projects and relationships with the Global Hydrogen Economy and other Amazon teams and its strategic partnerships with AWS customers. We regularly work with major energy and technology companies as well as high-growth start-ups to identify pilot and scaling opportunities. You will be required to handle multiple projects that may span a variety of business areas including hydrogen economy, Amazon Transportation, digital services, and other new business initiatives. You will be forward-thinking and effectively advocate for strategic partners across various Amazon businesses and be responsible for ensuring projects from these strategic hydrogen partnerships to reach successful operation.You will need to work collaboratively with internal management teams to understand where our relative advantages or risks lie, if/when major features are in existing roadmaps, and current trends around innovation, consolidation and customer adoption. We dive deep and provide thoughtful analysis, but are adaptable and action-oriented, focused on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making. Driving adoption of customer/partner technology and solutions and driving the AWS flywheel is our primary objective.You will drive towards end-customer value that results in business growth to both partners and AWS by being partner-centric in all activities, serving as a leader and advocate for them within AWS, and accurately representing AWS within the partner's organization.Responsibilities will include driving relationships with your partner organizations at C-level, BU/Line of Business and field leadership, and with the broader AWS team, to execute pan amazon initiatives.
