The Retail Store Associate position provides an opportunity, in aleading retail setting, to excel in a growing, high impact, customerfocused role, working both independently and as a member of a team, topositively impact the lives of others. Essential Functions: - Providingdifferentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs,demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and activelyidentifying and resolving potential service issues - Focusing on thecustomer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contactand offering help locating additional items, when needed - Accuratelyperform cashier duties - handling cash, checks and credit cardtransactions with precision while following company policies andprocedures - Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checkingin vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventorymanagement tasks as directed by store manager - Supporting opening andclosing store activities, when needed - Providing customer support toall departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments arefully stocked and operational while remaining current with all updatedservices and tools - Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, includingworking regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities forgrowth and career development - Embracing and advocating for new CVSservices and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping peopleon their path to better health Physical Requirements: - Remainingupright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time -Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs offorce frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to moveobjects to and from, including overhead lifting - Visual Acuity - Havingclose visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computerterminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/detailsPreferred Qualifications - Previous experience in a retail or customerservice setting Education - High School diploma or equivalent At CVSHealth, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their pathto better health.
