Duties: Washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, sweeping and scrubbing floors, and sorting and removing trash. Other related duties.
Three months experience at a high end restaurant, resort or private club. Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Test is required.
Rate of Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at $22.50 - $24.00 per hour. Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in 1st pay period for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees). Air transport to place of employment will be provided at no cost to worker (air travel paid upfront); Ground expenses and subsistence costs will be reimbursed to worker during 1^st^ pay period. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46/day during travel to a max $59.00/day w/receipts. If worker does not complete at least 1/2 of employment period worker is expected to refund employer. Return transport will be provided if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early. Employer will provide at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Employer guarantees to offer work for hrs. equal to at least 3/4 of workdays in each 12-week period of total employment.
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing including utilities, if accepted, is $500.00 per month. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $500.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer upon acceptance of housing. All deductions from workers paycheck required by law will be made. Cost of daily transportation to and from worksite is provided for $100.00 per month.
