Description

　　You might be the full-time Staff Accountant Robert Half is looking for, if you're interested in becoming a critical part of an innovative company. If you can assist with daily accounting activities such as AP, AR, general ledger reconciliations, fixed asset documentation and record retention, you might be right for this Staff Accountant position. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity in the Bardstown, Kentucky area, at a company where effort is rewarded.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

　　Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

　　Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　-Accounts Payables and Receivables

　　Take part in various department-wide initiatives

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Requirements

　　Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred but not required

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Knowledgeable of ERP systems

　　Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

　　Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Knowledge of expense reports

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
