　　Robert Half has partnered with a reputable organization in the area that is looking to hire a Staff / Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. You will report to a dynamic manager and be the right hand for all general ledger activity. A successful candidate will have foundational knowledge of the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. As the Staff Accountant, you'll get exposed to various month-end close activities, and aspects of the general ledger, balance sheet, and assist with financial statements.

　　Your responsibilities in this role:

　　Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

　　Prepare bank and credit card account reconciliations

　　Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly balance sheet workpapers

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Additional reporting and projects as assigned

　　Requirements

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Solid understanding of bank account reconciliations

　　Foundational understanding of general ledger and g/l account recs

　　Journal Entries experience

　　Ability to meet deadlines
