The ideal candidate for this position can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. This position will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. You might be our ideal candidate, if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

　　Responsibilities

　　Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision

　　Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

　　Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

　　Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting

　　Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments Requirements - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

　　Bank reconciliations experience

　　Good understanding of accruals

　　Previous experience working with Process Improvement

　　Wide ranging experience with depreciation

　　Comprehensive knowledge of funds transfer

　　Earlier work involving Amortization

　　Quality experience with depreciation

　　Practical knowledge of Post Journal Entries

　　Experience with general ledger

　　General familiarity with Prepare Journal Entries

　　Account reconciliation experience

　　Proven knowledge of Prepare Financial Statements

　　Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

　　Well-founded grasp of US GAAP

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience
