Description

　　My client is a non-profit organization looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in their Washington, DC office. The ideal Staff Accountant for this position will support with the daily accounting duties, including preparation of the financial statements. The Staff Accountant will also be preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling the general ledger, invoicing and other projects as needed. 　　Daily responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

　　· Preparation of financial statements.

　　· Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

　　· Post various journal entries.

　　· Assist with invoicing.

　　· Support with other ad hoc duties.

　　Requirements

　　The ideal Staff Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

　　· 1+ years of accounting experience.

　　· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

　　· CPA or pursuing CPA licensure, a plus.

　　· Able to work in team environment.
