　　Position Purpose: A Senior Technician will be responsible for the assemblyof electrical/mechanical components for space flight use.

　　Pay Range: $28.85 - $48.30/hr

　　Read, understand, and execute work instructions to build advanced andprecise electrical/mechanical assemblies.Collaborate and aide in the development of work instructions with theengineering team.Increase efficiency of builds by understands the engineering intent of thefinal product and make recommendations on the engineering to meet the intentmore efficiently.Be a go to resource to trouble shoot non-conforming issues with the intent tofind a path forward with the greatest efficiency.Take ownership and maintain build documentation for assemblies being built.Including filling out work instructions, non-conformance reports and loggingtime against the applicable work order.Mentor junior techniciansassist in trainings for team developmentBe willing to cross train in multiple areas of specialty.May include personnel management responsibilities.Other responsibilities as assigned.

　　Minimum 8 years related experience, or a two-year technical degree and 5years related experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentMUST have experience performing precision electrical/mechanical assemblyAbility to read and work to engineering documentationFamiliarity with tools and techniques used for precision manufacturing andassemblyExperience using metrology tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Multi-meters, etc.)Applied knowledge of GD&T (ANSI/ASME Y14.5)5+ years experience working in an aerospace production environmentDemonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior techniciansExperience using Solidworks and/or Autodesk Fusion 360Excellent manual dexterity, ability to handle small partsPossess strong problem solving and communication abilitiesHigh standard of workmanship is a mustRelated technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
