  What you get to do in this role: *  *

  Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)

  Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.

  Drive technical decisions affecting the architecture and vision for the ServiceNow Store

  Solve interesting problems providing value to all customers of ServiceNow

  Contribute to designs that will influence the technical direction of Store for years to come

  Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs

  Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

  Host and take part in learning sessions to develop knowledge across the team

  Interact directly with Partners and Customers to assist in a streamlined experience on the Store

  Learn the features and functionalities necessary to run an enterprise scale system connecting thousands of systems

  Collaborate with a wide variety of teams across ServiceNow to solve cross functional problems as scale

  Interact with teams across the globe building strong collaborative relationships across geographies and time zones

  To be successful in this role you have:

  10+ years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks

  Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization

  Experience in an Agile team with a strong understanding of SCRUM best practices

  Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

  "Expert level experience with React, Redux, AngularJS, and jQuery"

  Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization.

  Experience with multiple technology stacks: Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks or service–oriented architecture

  Experience in building services across geographies and systems including understanding data syncing, remote troubleshooting, and performance monitoring

  Capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner

  Independence of execution: able to drive projects to strong outcomes with minimal oversight

  Preferred but not required:

  Expertise in the ServiceNow platform

  Operational experience of a large scale commerce site

  For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $181,100 - $316,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
