The Microsoft Edge Mobile Team is looking for software engineers who are passionate about continuous innovation and improving browser performance, security, and reliability. As a part of our team, you will work to improve the Edge mobile product of our users and earn their trust.
You’ll work in a variety of codebases to solve this problem, and have a chance to work with numerous partner teams to solve these problems. It’s a chance to work on a modern codebase with a fast iteration loop. You will get a chance to work in a number of languages, but a lot of the code is portable C++, Java, ObjectC, Swift, Javascript.
Responsibilities
As an architect in Edge Mobile , you will be joining a team passionate about driving into Microsoft Edge. The team is focused on building a consistent experience across platforms, being data driven in measuring impact, reach and reliability, and works very closely with numerous internal teams. You are responsible for implementation, measurement, rollout, and refinement of the solution
Qualifications
15+ years software development
10+ years mobile (Android or iOS) development experience
5+ years experience with C++, Java/Kotlin, ObjectC/Swift or HTML/JavaScript/CSS
Proficient understanding about mobile industry
Preferred qualifications:
Cross platform development experience like Windows, Linux and macOS is plus+ Web application development experience is plus+ Demonstrated productivity and effectiveness in large codebases and/or open-source software (Chromium esp.).
Familiarity working in an agile environment, attending daily standup. Experience with practicing the role of scrum master is also helpful
