EMPLOYER NAME:Addepar, Inc.POSITION LOCATION:New York, NYPOSITION AVAILABLE:Sr. Software EngineerMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in an Engineering field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.DESCRIPTION: Participate in the full software lifecycle development on components and subsystems of a bespoke large-scale distributed data processing system. Interpret broad requirements into technical specifications and later into functional code and components. Facilitate the deployment, operations, and support of software systems managing private financial data on public cloud platforms. Contribute to program development in maintenance of several high-level programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++). Coordinate cross-functionally on projects with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Site Reliability Engineering, and Information Security. Document architectural decisions and develop best practices, component dependencies, and system maintenance instructions. Research and make decisions around component reuse versus buy versus build for specific subsystems. Peer review with other developers on both design documents and source code artifacts.SKILLS REQUIRED:•2 years of experience with backend software service development, including designing, implementing and maintaining highly performant and scalable applications.•2 years of experience with multiple server-side languages (such as Java, Python, C++, or Go), and selecting the most appropriate language for specific requirements.•2 years of experience designing, tuning and optimizing databases for application needs, including both relational and non-relational database systems.•2 years of experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks (such as Junit, Jasmine, or Selenium).•2 years of experience with frontend development technologies including HTML, Javascript, and Typescript.•2 years of experience using modern frameworks and libraries, such as Angular or React.•2 years of experience building responsive, performant and user-friendly web applications to fulfill user requirements and ensure optimal user experience.•Telecommuting from anywhere in the United States is allowed.RATE OF PAY: $156,000 to $234,000 per year CONTACT: Please send resume to Addepar, Inc. at [email protected].
