TITLE: Sr. Software DeveloperLOCATION: 13736 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, MO 63043

　　JOB SUMMARY:Design, develop, modify, and implement software applications for Charter’s Mobile Service Platform and enterprise-level web services for backend. Lead team responsible for implementation of processes to improve the codes, tests, and debugging of new software applications and software enhancements. Write code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to improve application performance and functionality. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components. Lead code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards and provide inputs to development teams. Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements. Resolve incidents and problems for production applications and web services supported by team. Develop and provide support for the Spectrum Mobile Buyflows, by investigating, researching, and reaching out to backend teams for assistance. Establish frameworks for projects and initiatives. Recommend efficiencies for software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs. Ensure monitoring and alerting is in place for all critical services, infrastructure, and vendor connections using Splunk, App Dynamics, and Solarwinds. A hybrid office and remote work arrangement is available.

　　EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 6 years of experience utilizing SQL or NoSQL to perform database operations, including handling large data. 6 years of experience utilizing Java and J2EE to design, code, develop, and test software applications. 4 years of experience utilizing Microservices to build software applications. 4 years of experience utilizing Spring Boot to build and develop enterprise-level web applications. A hybrid office and remote work arrangement is available.
