If you are interested in pursuing a rewardingcareer, we invite you to review our opportunities!Job Description SummaryPosition Responsibilities:Support the goals of a district/region regarding all Safety, Health, and Environmental programs by coaching and leading Branch and Regional leadership through Engage for Life core competencies, which include but not limited to, learning teams, speaking up, safety conversations that matter, teaming, identifying exposures, etc.Conduct investigations and inspections in coordination with the Regional SH&E Manager to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards, and regulations. Investigates incidents. Promotes safety-conscious work performance and training programs. Communicate and interpret safety performance metrics.Lead and or participate in Event Learning Teams to determine incident root causes.Conduct PC safety compliance inspections and audits in accordance with scheduled programs, utilizing dedicated audit criteria including but not limited to Branch Fitness Checks, employee training, quarterly facility compliance inspections, vehicle fleet / DOT compliance, shop and equipment rental fleet compliance.Identify deficiencies found during inspections; provides written evaluation of inspection with corrective/preventive action recommendations; assists Branch Manager & Service Manager in determining appropriate time period for completion of corrective actions.Responsible for educating employees and leadership on SH&E procedures & standards on an ongoing basis.Assists Branch Safety Coordinator as necessary with completion of required training, safety meeting coordination and completion, and quarterly branch inspections.Support Branch Manager and Safety Coordinator in the investigation of incidents and appropriate near-misses while assisting the Branch Manager in completion of reporting requirements and follows up as necessary to support the claims managers.Actively participate in Branch weekly safety meetings and assisting Branch Manager /Service Manager in the Branch level Safety Councils.Support Regional Safety Councils by communicating SH&E initiatives, hot button topics, and safety blasts among the team.At the direction of the RSM or Territory Safety Director, supports regional or specialty divisions during Emergency Storm Response in the field at the Branch.
