  We are seeking to hire a Sr. Risk and Control Testing to join our financial services team Belton, TX, Knoxville, TN, Troy, AL or Columbia, SC.. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside industry giants in the secondary mortgage industry. CGI offers an innovative approach to client support, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S. where CGI has an office.

  Your future duties and responsibilities

  - Perform independent control testing activities and document results

  - Communicate findings to team members

  - Establish and maintain relationships during testing engagements

  - Implement tasks assigned by the manager to deliver on team objectives

  - Collaborate with team members when vital

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  - Validated 6 to 8 years of experience in IT Risk Management project or process management

  - Required 3 to 5 years of experience in testing technical controls in financial institutions

  - Validated ability to analyze and provide a credible challenge of the efficiency of risk management and internal controls within Information Security

  - Identifies and raises emerging risks. Liaises with the Policies and Procedures (P&P) team to ensure risks and controls are appropriately reflected within procedures. Identify, assess, and document risks and controls and complete testing.

  - Experience with industry risk frameworks (COSO/COBIT)

  - Experience with data governance and data privacy

  - Ability to demonstrate an understanding of risk management and internal control principles, including what constitutes effective control design

  - Experience with NIST Framework is required.

  - Experience in requirements evaluation

  - Experience in risk mitigation or corrective actions

  - Experience testing internal controls

  - Strong communication and presentation skills

  - Required AWS Certifications such as Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or Security Specialty with 2 - 3 years experience in AWS cloud technologies.

  - Relevant certifications are highly desirable (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPP, PSP, CRISC, CIPP, etc.)

  EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

  CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.00 - $165,300.00.
