Summary:
Actively seeks opportunities to improve processes that will have a positive impact on patient care, clinical quality and the business requirements of Virtua Health.
Provides direction, support and feedback to project managers, project sponsors, operational leaders and customers to ensure they are supporting and implementing the project/program.
Leads and manages cross-functional teams to achieve specific goals and objectives of a new application and/or application tools, makes timely detailed recommendations to upper management concerning products, methods, and technologies that will enhance utilization of information resources.
Position Responsibilities:
• Actively pursues opportunities to improve processes, maximize financial resources and increase effectiveness and efficiency leading to optimized productivity.
• Conducts research to identify current best practices and benchmarking tools to establish credible evidenced based Virtua Health standards.
• Utilizes problem solving, critical thinking skills to perform workflow analysis and process modeling to create project plan documentation.
• Collaborates with key constituents to set project expectations, clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Ensures proper identification of issues/problems requiring appropriate escalation and follow through.
• Leads and executes project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects using standardized IS Business Practices and Project Methodology. Includes the creation and management of Statement of Work, Detailed work plan, project budget, action logs and monthly project status.
• Utilizes excellent interpersonal, facilitation (CAP/Work Out), verbal, written communication skills to lead and manage high performing goal-oriented teams. Ensures a smooth transition from project to support mode.
• Provides off-hours support as needed.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in healthcare provider or management position.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Required Education:
BA or BS required.
Master's degree preferred.
