About Sr Product Marketing Manager, Merchandising Strategy, NAS Marketing & Creative

  The North America Stores Onsite Marketing team is looking for a creative, customer-obsessed, highly entrepreneurial Sr Product Marketing Manager with strong merchandising, organizational and analytical skills. You will be responsible for developing and measuring manual and automated merchandising strategies in support of cross-category campaigns and seasonal events.The ideal candidate is a strong product marketer and project manager who is data-driven, detail-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity. You will leverage experimentation and performance data to develop new and optimize existing channel marketing strategies, best practices and playbooks that help customers discover and engage with new, popular and relevant products across all retail categories.As a leader in the team, you will be expected to influence across the organization, partnering with our Events Marketing, Product and Tech teams to support and influence the onsite CX roadmap. This role provides a great opportunity to make an outsized impact in a burgeoning space while collaborating closely with talented tech leaders to launch innovative marketing that unlocks cross-category discovery.Key job responsibilities* Single threaded owner for NASM CX merchandising tracker* Develop, test and scale successful cross-channel placements and personalized merchandising strategies* Own event and content targeting and prioritization* Identify merchandising gaps and devise experimentation plans to optimize missing placements* Track KPIs and progress to goals to measure success of campaigns, experimentation and new initiatives* Develop processes to gather inputs from partner teams and communicate back with key information and deadlines* Actively investigate and suggest new ways to help customers discover products on Amazon* Manage and report out on project status and resultsAbout the teamThe newly developed NAS Marketing & Creative team helps customers discover and engage with new, popular, and relevant products across categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing, and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside cutting-edge tools for marketers.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:New York, NY, USA | Santa Monica, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA- 7+ years of professional non-internship digital/marketing or product management experience- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs- Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results- High standards for marketing execution and commitment to delivering results- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements and measure marketing programs- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; elevated attention to detail- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field- Strong leader and negotiator who can drive consensus and articulate recommendations and trade-offs to leadership- Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting- A love of retail and product management and drive to deliver results- Experience in DTC and e-commerce products/servicesOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
