Description and Requirements
The role involves handling AP (Asia Pacific) Business Operations & planning for Mobile Division of Lenovo and Motorola Mobility.
Responsibilities
· Demand forecasting of Motorola Smartphones for AP [Asia Pacific] Region
· Lead the S&OP discussions with Go-to-Market teams for smooth demand forecasting process & execution.
·Supply Planning: Coordination with material planning team & factories to ensure timely availability of supply as per forecast in order to maximize revenue .
· Management of Customer Fulfillment execution ensuring high service levels and recommend actions in case of issues.
· Close engagement with Inbound & Outbound Logistics teams for timely supplies to various customers in AP markets.
· NPI (New product introduction) & End of life planning for the region.
· Inventory management at DC / Factory.
·Lead New supply chain projects for AP Region and Implementation of Global projects in the AP region.
·Analyzes material requirements to fulfill customer orders by Forecast and Customer Requested Ship Date (CRSD) and coordinates actions across the supply chain to close gaps.
Qualifications
Bachelors/master’s degree in engineering, Logistics or Business Management
MBA in supply chain or operations management will be preferred.
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
At least 2 years of experience in master planning / order management and fulfillment/SCM role
Experienced with MRP functionality and demand/ supply planning systems
Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
Self-motivated and quick learner with an open mind to new challenges
