Sr Manufacturing Technician

Discover Impactful Work:
Located in Fremont, CA the Sr Manufacturing Technician will assemble, integrate, and test sub-assemblies for Semiconductor fault analysis instruments. Using hand tools and provided work instructions, the technician will be accountable to meet assembly timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the company 4I's of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation & Involvement.
Following safety guidelines.
Ensure housekeeping & 5S standards are maintained within the manufacturing facility.
Ensure assembly of quality products.
A Day in the Life:
Follow Work Instructions to complete daily standard work, minimizing waste of idle time and materials and perform job duties with moderate level of supervision.
Use proper assembly tools needed for each build, maintain tool condition, calibration and organization
Verify material is present prior to starting assembly and alert supervisor of missing material
Assemble sub-assemblies or other product as instructed, and ensure work is done with all required quality considerations
Participate in PPI (practical process improvement) through gemba, tier meetings, JDI, and RCCM.
Ensure the processes are followed and accurate.
May be required to perform other tasks as the needed.
Desire to develop within this role and potentially beyond.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of direct related experience working in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED required, 2-year degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Use of hand tools including screwdrivers, wire cutters and strippers, torque drivers, and soldering to build sub-assemblies for semiconductor electrical fault analysis instruments.
Ability to perform cable and wire-routing following wiring diagrams
Basic PC/Microsoft Office knowledge

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $23.00–$33.00.
