  About the Role

  As the Senior Manager, Product Manager - Assortment, you will partner with business leaders and engineers to build custom and/or implement packaged software that powers the merchandising decisions for our iconic brands of Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta. You will help define the product roadmap by working with other product management counterparts and leaders to understand upcoming capabilities to positively impact the customer experience.

  What You'll Do

  Define the product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and leaders to identify and drive forward new capabilities. Write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software Develop and manage project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross functional partners Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trendsand standardsto introduce the continual process, tool and methodology improvements Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities Influence strategy for area/teamWho You Are

  Experience in designing, developing and implementing platforms, APIs, and/or complex enterprise capabilitiesExperience working with large software engineering teams both within and outside of your domainExperience working with apparel/accessories product creation, merchandising and/or site merchandising systems is preferredDemonstrate technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and to represent technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholdersAbility to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutionsSound knowledge of concepts and procedures specific to retail and/or ecommerce merchandising and a basic understanding of the procedures in other relevant areasBenefits at Gap Inc.

  Salary Range: $152,300 - $201,900 USD

  Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
