  Be Part of the Story at The Walt Disney Company as the Senior Manager, Regional Brand Commercialization, North America. This exciting role is within our Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing division (CPGP). You’ll support commercialization strategies for our consumer products business within the Americas region for The Walt Disney Company’s portfolio for the Marvel & Star Wars brands. You’ll also be responsible for driving brand strategy through collaborative partnerships with content partners, category and retail teams, marketing strategy, PR, and other key stakeholders across CPGP.

  This role reports to the Director, North America Brand Commercialization

  This is a Full Time role.

  What You Will Do:

  Support & deliver strategic brand strategy for North America for products across Marvel & Star Wars brands.

  Develop broad and deep understanding of global brand objectives and standards for all assigned properties and become the North American brand authority for that portfolio.

  Apply acquired brand knowledge, review all marketing collateral submitted by North American licensee and retail customer base.

  Craft compelling content and marketing presentations and confidently present them to internal and external partners, including key licensees and retailers.

  Establish timelines and lead projects to meet key achievements based on business needs.

  Track licensee and retailer support for licensed merchandise associated with key evergreen properties as well as new content releases.

  Identify gaps in retail support for assigned portfolio and work with cross-functional partners to develop solutions to address.

  Facilitate milestone meetings, employing strategies for effective and strategic meeting management; escalate in a timely manner when deliverables are off calendar.

  Think strategically and with a solution-focused approach.

  Lead sensitive early asset delivery process.

  Continually evaluate processes to improve efficiencies in ways of working, using technology.

  Serve as a key contact with global brand commercialization partners, build strong working relationships with them, ensuring timely & clear communication.

  Required Qualifications & Skills:

  5+ years of progressive brand/franchise experience or 7+ years brand, consumer packaged goods, retail or entertainment sales, franchise/brand management/licensing experience

  Strong understanding of the Marvel and Star Wars brands and the broader Disney organization

  Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to craft stories

  Experience with Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint, and other asset management software

  Ability to build trust and positive relationships with studio partners, executives, and cross-functional partners

  Agile and responsive – can thrive in ambiguous business situations

  Proven ability to be resourceful, decisive, confident under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment

  Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail with outstanding creativity and drive

  The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, is $123,000 to $165,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
