  JOB SUMMARY

  The Senior Manager, Learning Design + Development (SMLDD), Global Residential Operations is responsible for the designing, development, and implementing a comprehensive learning solution strategy that meets the education and growth needs for the Residential organization. This position collaborates with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, and emerging trends in learning technologies. In addition, this role plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and skill development of associates through long range planning and coaching of leaders and high potential individuals.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  NEEDS ANALYSIS

  Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and performance improvement opportunities for both the entire portfolio as well as individual properties and associates.

  Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and learner needs.

  CURRICULM DESIGN

  Develop and design training programs, workshops, and learning materials based upon identified needs.

  Build upon a structured curriculum that addresses specific learning objectives and organizational needs.

  PERFORMANCE SUPPORT

  Provide ongoing support and resources to help associates apply new skills on the job.

  Creating job aids, manuals, and other materials to assist in the transfer of learning to the workplace.

  Create initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

  Encouraging associate participation in training and development opportunities.

  Provide coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders.

  LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  Collaborate with Continent Leadership to identify high-potential associates and design development plans for career advancement.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external training providers.

  Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of talent development initiatives with organizational goals.

  Implement talent management strategies to retain and nurture key individuals within the organization.

  LEARNING TECHNOLOGY

  Stay updated on learning technologies and incorporating them into training programs.

  Manage and leveraging learning management systems to track and assess associate development.

  COMPLIANCE

  Ensure that training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  Keep abreast of changes in laws or regulations that may impact training content.

  CANDIDATE PROFILE

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Bachelor’s Degree

  Proven experience in instructional design and development.

  Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.

  Strong project management skills.

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.

  Ability to communicate and train all levels of the organization

  Advanced knowledge of MS Teams platform

  Travel 5% to 10%

  Flexible schedule

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.

  Certification in instructional design or e-learning development.

  Experience with gamification and interactive learning strategies.
