　　Job Description:

　　Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a world leader in Defense IT Systems Integration and Services, is seeking an Sr. Logistician to join its Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team.

　　We provide modernization for the integrated sustainment of the AF DCGS which also includes lab support for operational, production and test environments. This position is located at Warner Robins AFB, GA.

　　In this position you manage DCGS supply chain issues and provides strategic advice and input for forward planning:

　　Provide day-to-day support for logistics and equipment services related activities.

　　Develop and implement logistics program activities including technical documentation and provisioning.

　　Coordinate efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

　　Maintain inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excess, moved, or in transit.

　　Provide material handling coordination support to include shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.

　　Inspect inbound inventory for accuracy and completeness, defects or notable damage and log/report discrepancies.

　　Perform data entry, research and documentation of receiving issues in the inventory management and accountability system, or other Government, program, or company database/dashboard.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　BS/MS degree ; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

　　7 years of experience managing logistics for a large IT programs within a DoD environment

　　TS with SCI eligibility
