Sr IT Engineer

　　Sr IT Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Muncie, Indiana)

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Responsible for operational support of Infrastructure for regional workloads at Honeywell.

　　Work in and support VMware, Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration.

　　Operational support of on premise and regional technology including virtualized workloads.

　　Facilitate the implementation of new technology stacks and migration of workloads.

　　Provide escalation and supplier management to Site & Business.

　　Support the business case development, IT transformation, and service optimization initiatives.

　　Ensure full adoption and implementation of Honeywell standards, tools, processes, and strict adherence to Honeywell policies.

　　Partner effectively across teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements.

　　Participate in site leadership meetings as an on-site focal.

　　Bring business requirements to the greater IT team for review, solutioning and implementation.

　　Support incumbent projects to the site as well as Global Standardization initiatives.

　　YOU MUST HAVE:

　　Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of Information Technology experience. Full term of experience must include: operational support of enterprise infrastructure ecosystem; Service Management platforms and/or methodology; Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 OS, or RHEL LINUX -8.X and Virtualization technologies, including Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, VXRail, vSAN, and VCF/NSX; and server automation activities or Infrastructure as code (CHEF, JSON, Powershell, Ruby, or other scripting languages). Up to 5% international and domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
