CORE ROLE ACTIVITIES
Business Partnering
o Partnership and collaboration with the US Sales Finance Sr. Director, US Sales Sr. Finance Manager, and US Sales FP&A and IBP Leader and act as a strategic thought partner - understand, translate, and provide insight into business performance, including competitor and industry trends.
o Finance Partner to assigned members of the CRM US Sales Commercial Staff
Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting
o Provide support to the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process
o Provide support to AOP, 7Q, 10Q, 1Q and strategic plan forecast cycles including revenue, expense (OPC and DD), and headcount allocation
o Lead reporting on the US Region KPIs
o Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews for Sales Leadership
o Lead quarterly IDN revenue allocations
Financial Administration
o Manage Patient Care Systems Financial Entries and Reporting – Revenue, COGS, OPC, etc.
o Assist with RDT alignments changes
o Lead and prepare assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ad-Hoc & Special Projects
o Prepare financial analysis to support national initiatives
o Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
o Develop quarterly P&Ls at the Region and District levels
o Other Ad-hoc duties/special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a high-paced environment
MBA/CPA/CMA
Knowledge of standard GAAP requirements
Medtronic business unit finance experience/business acumen
Prior Medical Sales support experience
Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and influencing skills
Experience with MDT financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, CMR, SPEND, BOXI, Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preference is for position to be based onsite in Mounds View, MN, but open to US remote.
