The Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing, managing, and aligning all people and culture activities for Tatcha. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director of HR will oversee leadership development, retention, training, performance management, organization development, succession planning, compensation, and benefits administration. This individual will be an agile, hands-on business partner who can lead the HR function to help shape a growing and successful business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team on key organizational and management issues.
Lead all HR initiatives for the brand, translating business strategy into executable HR initiatives.
Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop people initiatives, including but not limited to: retention, engagement, training, workforce planning, team building, talent development, leadership coaching, etc.
Lead Talent Management and Succession Planning for Tatcha, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent to address any talent gaps.
Develop and implement Tatcha’s overall staffing budget and the budget for the HR department.
Implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
Develop and implement a DEI strategy to embed equity across the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10+ years HR leadership experience.
Proven experience scaling teams and navigating complex organization structures with a demonstrated track record of leading a number of Human Resources operational areas.
Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and persuade others across the organization while promoting values of teamwork, innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, excellence, and philanthropy.
Strong working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment law.
Prior experience with multi-state business, supporting field sales teams is a plus.
PHR, SPHR certifications are a plus.
Excellent judgment, maturity, and decision-making skills with integrity and empathy.
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Position is located in San Francisco and requires working on site in our San Francisco office at least 2 days per week.
The Details:
The expected base salary range for this position is $180K to $220K. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
