Job Description
Responsibilities will include, processing customer orders, schedule agreements and preparing customer quotations to the required Service Level. Also, keeping the customer fully advised on issues affecting service. The successful candidate with liaise with other Thermo Fisher Scientific sites and freight forwarders to ensure the timely dispatch and prompt delivery of ordered items. In addition, they will be encouraged to resolve any customer complaints regarding late deliveries and damage of goods. There will be the opportunity to update and maintain all key customer information within SAP and other supporting systems. Using our internal systems the applicant will log and resolve customer queries and complaints, whilst ensuring that departmental processes and procedures are adhered to, collaborate closely with relevant departments for stock availability, customer pricing and resolve issues whilst adhering to the regulatory requirements. There is also an expectation to use routing on SAP to ensure that we are meeting LOTIF (lines on time in full) for all customers. Tasks will include preparing appropriate documentation as required for customs clearance, working closely with distribution and freight forwarder regarding packaging and temperature controlled solutions.
In addition to the day to day tasks you will strive to:
Participate in the Continuous Improvement Programme (PPI), chipping in to the development and implementation of improvement initiatives within the department and identify process improvements (Kaizens)
Fulfil the responsibilities of the position as defined in the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and associated Codes of Practice. To actively promote Health and Safety awareness of all other employees

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous knowledge of working within a customer service environment & experience of working within a team
Solid understanding and experience in using SAP
Intermediate to advance the skill level of Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly developed organisation and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Complaint handling/conflict resolution.
