Come grow with us!General Purpose and Scope of Position:The Senior Agronomy Technical Information Manager will provide leadership and educational support for the Branded Technology and Biological Solutions Team. This role will manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with Branded Territory Managers, R&D, Marketing, Portfolio Managers, and sales Agronomists.This role will develop educational resources, provide live and virtual training, assist with writing and reviewing marketing materials, and manage Idea Initiation and the Technical Nutrition Systems project. This position will require significant travel (approximately 50% overnight) to educational events and other company meetings. The position is remote with a preference for key agricultural areas within the Wilbur-Ellis footprint roughly from the west coast into the Great Lakes region and down to Texas.Key Skills and Abilities Include:Deep understanding of production agriculture field practices, industry crops, and technologiesStrong background in crop and soil science, adjuvant, and active chemistries, and/or biologicalsStrong ability to manage and optimize processes and programsExcellent written and verbal presentation and communication skillsExperience and training in experimental design and data analysis & interpretationHighly proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite applicationsBachelor's degree or higher in a Soils, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or Crop Production discipline emphasizing crop nutrition.MS or PhD preferred.CCA and/or PCA License a plusExtensive travel, up to 50%Key Personal Attributes Include:Proven agronomic expert and leader with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teamsPassion for sharing knowledge and findings with othersStrong creative and critical thinkerProven track record of being detail-oriented, self-motivated, and effectively managing projects to meet deadlinesProven track record in conducting effective educational programsSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Providing technical training and support to Retail and Ag Solutions business linesManage the Item Master new product requests and process non-professional Market fertilizer requestsManaging new product development and idea initiation processes for all branded product concepts with appropriate Portfolio Managers and Formulation Chemists.Engage in the Branded Teams meetings to provide support, understand plans, and contribute to the product development processWorking with cross-functional teams to expand the Total Nutrition System platform, a software reporting tool for soil, water, and plant tissue analysis dataCollaborating with cross-functional teams around idea initiation, product formulation, registration, sourcing, packaging, promotion, and education to introduce new branded productsProviding support for Branded Technology projects through agronomic training in support of the Branded Products TeamAnswer questions and assist sales staff with resolving customer issues and questionsProvide agronomic diagnostic interpretation and training as requestedExtensive travel, up to 50%Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $137,500 to $192,500. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and
