Systems Safety Subject Matter Expert

Contract Position
This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:
Software and firmware safety design composition, implementation, documentation, and linking to safety requirements.FPGA firmware, software, and hardware analysis. You need to be able to relate safety requirements to system design and explain how the design meets the safety requirements.Generate, and update of the following documents, or support of the Government Safety Team's efforts to generate these:Systems Requirements Hazard Analysis (SRHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis, Code Level Hazard Analysis, Firmware Safety Assessment Report, Safety Verification Report and Safety Review Board Presentation Material.Audit the design and implementation according to the Joint Software Systems Safety Engineering Handbook (JSSSEH).Generate the source analysis to be reviewed by the government safety team and evaluate what is produced by the government safety team.Generate System Safety Progress Report periodically. Qualifications:
