Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Green Bay area. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in providing accurate financial reporting, managing general accounting tasks, and supporting organizational goals through advanced knowledge of financial processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

General Ledger Management: Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.

Month-End Close: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Compliance Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal controls, assist in regulatory compliance, and support external and internal audits.

ERP Systems Utilization: Use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems effectively to manage accounting operations and produce streamlined financial statements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Must possess strong knowledge of the General Ledger

• Should be proficient in preparing Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected

• Experience with Month End Close is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP systems

• Experience with Leases is desirable
